Working with Shirly was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
We undertook a big project, combining our tiny old-fashioned kitchen and dining room to create a modern open plan living space.
From the beginning Shirly gave us a questionnaire to complete so she could really understand
how we use the kitchen and what was important for us to have in the kitchen. She then came
up with a beautiful contemporary design and tied in the kitchen with the rest of the house so
there is a nice seamless flow. She gave us computer generated images of the kitchen so we
could really envision how the kitchen was going to look.
Shirly is so creative and came up with a spectacular design. My kitchen now looks like
something out of a magazine and is such a joy to spend time in.
My whole family just loves cooking and hanging out in the new kitchen.
The other thing I really appreciated about Shirly is how unbelievably kind she is. The choices
and decisions you need to make with a new kitchen can be overwhelming and Shirly came with
us on numerous occasions to different stores to look at cabinets, countertops, handles, etc.
I felt she really held our hand every step of the way.
Shirly truly wants you to be happy with every aspect of the design process from start to finish
and her caring nature and attention to detail went above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have
found Shirly and will be recommending her to everyone we know!

After handling the design on one bathroom remodel, I decided on getting assistance for our two children’s bathrooms that also needed a redo. I had ideas on what I wanted to them to look like, and Shirly brought them to life. She came up with inventive ways to create additional storage, meet the needs of children at different stages of their lives, and infuse a spa like retreat into the design.
Shirly was hands on throughout the entire process, both with me and our contractor. She raised issues throughout that I wouldn’t have thought of and was also very open to suggested changes along the way. Once we chose the design and décor for both bathrooms, Shirly noticed that one tile would work better in the other and vice versa and it was a great decision. As issues arose during design and construction, Shirly was great in finding a solution. While the focused effort was on two bathrooms, Shirly was incredibly helpful with ideas in my house for both now and in the future.

When we first saw the house that we would one day buy, it looked quite neglected. After seeing a few other houses, it didn’t look any better. It took a third visit for both of us to agree: this place has potential.
Shirly, you helped us discover the beautiful gem that was there, waiting to be discovered.
Together we tore down a rundown kitchen and built a beautiful modern open concept that is simply “us”. We replaced 50-year-old bathrooms with contemporary facilities that are a perfect mix of function and form. Together we built two extra rooms to fully accommodate our fairly large family.
One thing that really helped us was how you laid out multiple options for us to pick from, each picked to fit our budget. From bathroom tiles to kitchen tops, you narrowed down dozens of options to a manageable three options, for each decision, and if we didn’t “feel” any option for something, you worked with us to add a fourth.
